Val Air Holiday Fair 2025!
Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual Val Air Holiday Fair taking place Saturday, November 29 from 11 AM - 6 PM. This isn't your typical craft fair. Expect eccentric art, vintage finds, and one-of-a-kind gifts from over 70 local vendors, including full-time artists, creative side hustlers and collectors. a coffee from Wake Up Iowa coffee, enjoy the live disco beats (courtesy of Brooklyn DJ Willy Muse), take a photo with a 9-foot Disco Santa (yes, there's a human inside), and photography by Annick Sjobacken, who shoots for The New York Times. Admission is FREE. Bring your crew, find unique holiday gifts and support the Des Moines creative community. See you on the historic ballroom floor!
Derry & the Dirty Dishes in Minneapolis!
Derry & the Dirty Dishes are playing Koo Koo’s kids band festival called Silly Shindig in Minneapolis, MN at First Avenue on Sunday December 28th. 6 total bands. Both stages Mainroom & 7th St. Entry. Doors open at 11am and the show is wrapped by 2pm. (Just in time for a nap)
NYE Morning Kids Party w/ Derry & the Dirty Dishes!
Derry & the Dirty Dishes (rock music for kids & grownups alike) will be hosting a kids NYE party at 10:30 am on December 31st! Join us at xBk for a celebration that fits a more youthful schedule. DJ Kitty Cat twins will start when the doors open at 10am, spinning danceable hits for all ages. Derry & the Dirty Dishes will go on at 10:30am
SHARP, and will be over around 11:15 in time for lunch and naps!
